If I could go back to my double decker fort in Castlegar it would be alright with me especially today the wind blows the rain pours and sometimes it takes over my soul.
we can go back there, if u want. see if it's still there. u can show it to me, if it is. u can wear red overalls and we'll take a "now and then" picture, lol. i heart u. the storms are in.
Our fort in our backyard in Melbourne was at ground level - back then no one did two levels - but I did fall through the roof one time and seriously tear the skin from the sides of both arms. It really hurt.
My favorite fort was the one we called the Kenny Schibild Barricade. It, like other forts, was demolished in '68 when the lot next door was cleared so a friggin' store could be built. Now the store is still there but all of our houses have been torn down...

You had a fort? I'm so jealous. The only fort we got to hang out in in Castlegar was King's Chair.
Thanks again for getting the dogs and the ride home.
