This summer was the most relaxing
I have had in a long time...
A week in Idaho,
cruising around the province with family,
Parker spending most of his time
naked...

He learned to wrestle
Play baseball & to spend hot days
in pools
When we were home he spent overnights
at Sheila's getting spoiled rotten.

In late August my grandpa passed away
the next day my good friend Nathan
killed himself bringing my summer
to a very abrupt end.
I was ready to say good-bye to my grandpa
but not to Nathan

Every morning I get up and think it didn't happen
but it did.
Now I am determined to live my life the way it should
be lived with no regrets and surrounded by the people
I care about.

I love you Nathan,
I hope you are watching over us.
