the challenge

being a parent now
brings on all of these
new issues

budgeting, daycare
it's a huge adjustment
but i am doing it
new worries come along
4 the ride with all of this

what i used to take off of my cheque
for summer
now goes to daycare
needless to say
my savings are not
so great

i downloaded the spend
app for my itouch
my new addiction is punching
in everything i spend
to see where i can save more

itz hard, itz frustrating
i pay for it all
don't get me wrong
parker is worth every cent
but every now and then
i daydream about splitting
the costs of life/bills with
someone not to mention romance...

i just want to be good at it
i only worked 8 months this
year which is making me
feel poorer than usual
but i am happy
scared sometimes
and wishing
i suddenly
had a swelling
bank account
or i win
a small
lottery

1 day it won't all
be on me
i hope i can share
the load
and the smile of my
boy...

i am proud
to do what i do
but it's hard
work and
i love
it.
